Pendlehurst Limited was incorporated in 1978 to provide structural detailing services for steel fabrication companies and Consulting Engineers. During this time it has continued to embrace new technologies including the use of Tekla Structures and StruCad - 3D solid modelling systems for the design and detailing of structural steelwork. The latest release's of Autocad for reading layouts are always purchased to maintain compatable information exchanges with engineers and architects. From both StruCad and Tekla Structures we can define every inputted value from dimension, geometry and material to connection type and member properties, right down to the paint specification. This creates a visual model of the project, from which individual detail drawings are automatically generated along with clear concise general arrangement drawings and reports for the job - bolt lists, material lists and assembly lists etc.
With the continuing and increasing use of communications technologies in today's drawing office, we utilise broadband services to efficiently communicate with all parties during a project we can send and recieve files upto 1GB. However, technology becomes redundant without compatibility, we can convert produced drawings into .dxf, .dwg and .pdf formats to enable the architect, engineer and client to all view the same drawing the way it was intended to be seen without the extra cost of having to purchase expensive software.
